What is Community Oriented Policing?

The main focus of Community Policing is the formation of relationships or partnerships that facilitate open interaction between the police and the public. One of the ultimate purposes of having a partnership is to facilitate what we call Problem-Solving by working with the citizens to address and solve their concerns with crime.
